No-Bake Cheesecake!
Hi guys!! It's me, Sakshi I am going to show you how to make a cheesecake today, without baking!! This cheesecake is delicious, sophisticated, and beyond easy to make. 😋
Let's Get Started!!
Ingredients needed-
16- 20 Graham Crackers (Or almost any type of cookie, Oreos etc.)
130 grams (1 1/2 cup) of melted butter
1/2 cup of sugar
450 grams of room temperature of cream cheese
1/3 cup of granulated (powdered) sugar
1/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1/3 cup of sour cream (optional)
1 tablespoon (15 ml) of vanilla extract
Method to follow
Put the Graham Crackers in a food processor and grind them up till they are nice and crumbly. Now put in 1/2 of sugar (you can skip it if you chose a sweet cookie) And grind a bit more😅. Now put in your melted butter while grinding. Now your crumb crust mixture is ready, make sure that it's crumbly but you can still clump it together. We are gonna use this for the outer crust!😁
Take a springform pan and pour in the crust mixture, now press some of it towards the side and pack it in well. Take a glass with straight edges and pack it in more firmly (If the crust isn't well packed then it will crumble). Now put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let it firm up. Now let's move on to the cheesecake batter!
Add the cream cheese (make sure it's room temperature!) into a bowl and whisk it with an electric beater. Now add 1/3 cup granulated sugar and whisk more until well combined. Now it's time to scrape the bowl! It's essential to scrape the bowl at regular intervals to make sure that everything is combined well. Now add in the sweetened condensed milk. Make sure you don't add too much or the cheesecake may not set! Time to add in the sour cream (if you're using it 😛you can skip it too)
Now add in the vanilla extract and whisk it again 😅(whisk in between each step) Give it a last whisk and your cheesecake batter is ready! 😊
Now take out your crumb crust (which should have set by now) and pour the batter in. Smooth it out with an offset spatula or knife.
Now all that's left to do is to let it set in the fridge overnight......
YAY! Your No- Bake - Cheesecake is ready!
You can put berries on top for garnish or pipe some whipped cream. It's upto you!
Here's a tip for cutting it: Take a sharp knife and dampen it. Now cut a piece and now you have a perfect slice! Clean the knife between each cut!😇
